Introduction
Ivy Vandervorst is an Amsterdam-based DJ known for her stylish feel-good music selection and her ability to create the right vibe for many settings.
After completing her Bachelor’s degree in Music and Technology at HKU University of the Arts Utrecht, she shifted her focus fully to DJ-ing, a passion that quickly evolved into a full-time profession.
Over the years, Ivy has performed for leading international brands such as Netflix, Google, CHANEL, H&M x Mugler, Pandora, Ferrari Dealer Munsterhuis, TAG Heuer and has recently made a Dutch television appearance on the popular show De Bondgenoten (Talpa / SBS6). She has also brought her sets to Amsterdam’s exclusive venues, including the W Amsterdam, Faralda Crane Hotel, A’DAM Tower (The Loft, Ma'dam, A'DAM VR Game Park, A'DAM&Co.), Soho House and the Koninklijke Industrieele Groote Club.
Her signature blend of stylish Nu-Disco, Lounge, House and Classic House, makes her a trusted choice for luxury events, brand activations and private gatherings.
Ivy’s musical range extends across decades of Disco, Pop and House, often in fresh, modern remixed versions tailored to her clients' wishes. For certain events, on request, she also performs Tech House, Techno, Deep House, Afro House, or even cheesy fun party hits.
Her regular performances include residencies at LuminAir (mesmerizing cocktail sky bar at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel) and MR PORTER (distinguished Restaurant, Bar & Lounge at W Amsterdam)

To maintain this standard, I typically take an average of maximum two bookings per week (mostly one event booking and one residency booking)
carefully selected to ensure a great match, allowing me to devote my full focus to each event.
I’m passionate about DJing at fashion events, boutiques, product launches,
luxury or niche brands across various industries, globally recognized brands, as well as beautiful venues and special locations.
I perform at a wide range of events, including corporate functions, dinners, private celebrations, weddings,
and at upscale restaurants, bars,
and hotels. I enjoy the wide variety my work offers!
I love creating memorable moments at events and parties!!
My corporate clients range from globally recognized companies to small, local businesses.
I’m based in Amsterdam, available for bookings both locally and internationally.
In my 13+ years as a DJ, I have never had to cancel a booking, a level of consistency my clients trust when planning their most important events.
I maintain a clean lifestyle, I don’t drink alcohol, smoke, or use substances, and I follow a vegetarian diet, though I’m totally comfortable to being around people who choose a different lifestyle.
This lifestyle helps me to stay energized, and dependable for every event.
At this moment, I don’t work with an agency. From my experience, having direct contact with my clients allows me to best understand their wishes and communicate clearly throughout the entire process.
Music Genres
My specialty is stylish feel-good music,
Disco, House, Lounge, Classic House, and a selection of popular hits from the last five decades, often in modern stylish remixed versions.
Whether you want a party vibe or sophisticated background music.
For events where guests want to communicate and connect, or with dinner events, I choose tracks with an open, spacious sound that create a positive energy without overpowering conversations.
We will communicate clearly in advance about your musical preferences,
to ensure the music perfectly fits your event.
Equipment
I can work with most Pioneer DJ equipment, though I will always ask in advance which setup will be provided.
Preferred setup:
- PLAYERS: 2 x Pioneer CDJ-3000 (For parties: 3 x Pioneer CDJ-3000)
- MIXER: 1 x Pioneer DJM-900NXS2
If required, for most events in Amsterdam, I could bring and install my basic DJ controller, the Pioneer XDJ-XZ.
Due to my busy schedule, I may not always be able to bring this controller outside of Amsterdam.
In Amsterdam I'm mostly able to help arrange a professional company to provide basic technical equipment, such as Speakers, a small DJ booth and a DJ Controller.
Outside Amsterdam I'm sometimes able to help arrange this.

Since 3 years, I’ve been a resident DJ at the mesmerizing LuminAir — the rooftop cocktail bar at the DoubleTree by Hilton Amsterdam Central Station. This year marks my third consecutive invitation to perform at their most important yearly event, their New Year’s Eve celebration, where I’ll be delivering a 3 hour set around midnight. Prices
All prices are listed excluding 9% VAT, as most of my clients are corporates. VAT will be added to all private and corporate invoices, except for international corporates where reverse charge can be applied. Typically, I request a partial prepayment in order to confirm a booking. If you'd prefer your booking/prepayment to be handled financially with additional assurance via a reliable external booking platform, this is possible for an additional fee of 11%.

TRAVEL COSTS
For events located outside the city centre of Amsterdam, travel costs will be added..
These costs cover transportation (car/taxi), fuel, parking fees, and the time it takes me to travel and arrive well in advance of the event.
To provide an example of how travel costs are calculated:
Distances are measured from Amsterdam Central Station, and my indicative rate is €1.50 per kilometer. For instance, if your event is located 50 km away, the total round-trip distance would be 100 km. Based on this, the travel cost would amount to €150, excluding 9% VAT.
MY OWN DJ CONTROLLER
My pricing for transporting, coordinating, and setting up my Pioneer DJ Controller (XDJ-XZ) within Amsterdam is typically €170 (excluding 9% VAT). Coordinating the service involves planning, communication, and organization, including scheduling, ensuring proper setup conditions, for a flawless experience. Due to my busy schedule, I may not always be available to install the DJ Controller outside Amsterdam.
RENTAL OF SPEAKERS, DJ EQUIPMENT, DJ BOOTH
First, I'd like to mention that I always prefer that all technical aspects are arranged by you without my involvement. Should it be necessary, we can, of course, communicate regarding your wishes.
Option 1:
I can connect you with a cost-friendly small company to deliver and install technical equipment such as Speakers, DJ equipment, a DJ booth, and lighting for small to medium-sized events, depending on their availability. You can discuss and arrange all details directly with them, with the understanding that I will not be actively involved. This is the most cost-friendly option.
Option 2:
If you would prefer that I handle the full technical organization with a cost-effective company, this is sometimes possible. However, an additional fee will apply, as coordinating and managing everything can be very time-consuming.
Depending on various factors my fee would range from €125 to €500 excl 9% VAT.
Option 3:
I can connect you with a premium company that will fully arrange and manage all technical aspects of the event, best suited for medium to very large events. Please note that this option comes at significantly higher prices. You can discuss and arrange all details directly with them, with the understanding that I will not be actively involved.
Regarding Option 1:
The prices below are approximate and include 21% VAT, daytime delivery, installation, and pick-up in Amsterdam. Evening delivery/pick-up and locations outside Amsterdam will incur an additional surcharge.
If you would like to reduce costs, you also have the option to collect and return the equipment yourself in Amsterdam, and handle the installation yourself, understanding that I will not be actively involved.
