Introduction
Ivy Vandervorst is an Amsterdam-based female DJ known for her stylish, feel-good music selection and her ability to create the right vibe for luxury, corporate and private events, from sophisticated lounge settings to energetic dance floors. Every set is thoughtfully curated to match the setting, atmosphere and expectations of each client.
After completing her Bachelor’s degree in Music and Technology at HKU University of the Arts Utrecht,
she shifted her focus fully to DJ-ing, a passion that quickly evolved into a full-time profession.
Over the years, Ivy has performed for leading international brands such as Netflix, Google, CHANEL, H&M x Mugler, TAG Heuer, Pandora, Just Eat Takeaway.com, Ferrari through its official dealer Munsterhuis, and has made a Dutch television appearance on the popular show
De Bondgenoten (Talpa / SBS6).
She has also brought her sets to renowned venues in Amsterdam, including the Van Gogh Museum,
A’DAM Tower (The Loft, Ma’dam, A’DAM VR Game Park, A’DAM&Co.), Koninklijke Industrieele Groote at Dam Square (Royal Industrieele Groote Club), W Amsterdam, Faralda Crane Hotel, Soho House and Capital C. RAI Amsterdam, the city’s leading international exhibition and conference centre, is also among the locations where she performs regularly.
Her performances include a residency at LuminAir, the captivating rooftop cocktail sky bar at the DoubleTree by Hilton Amsterdam Central Station, where she is a resident DJ since 2022. She has also been invited to perform prime-time at LuminAir’s prestigious annual New Year’s Eve Party for the last three consecutive years.
Ivy also holds residencies at MR PORTER, the distinguished Restaurant, Bar & Lounge at W Amsterdam, House of Noa, a members-only restaurant and club in the city center, among other selected locations.
Her signature blend of stylish Nu-Disco, Lounge, House and Classic House makes her a trusted choice for
luxury events, brand activations and private events.
Ivy’s musical range extends across decades of Disco,
House and Pop, often in fresh, modern remixed versions. For certain events, on request, she also performs Tech House, Techno, Deep House, Afro House, or even fun cheesy party hits.

Overview
Providing excellent quality and service to every client is my top priority. To maintain this standard, I accept a limited number of carefully selected bookings, on average two per week, allowing me to devote my full focus to each event.
I’m passionate about performing at fashion events, boutiques, product launches, and for luxury, niche,
and globally recognised brands.
I also perform at unique venues and special locations, creating memorable experiences through music.
My work spans corporate events, conferences, dinners, private celebrations, and weddings, as well as performances at upscale restaurants, bars, and hotels. I work with both internationally recognised companies and local businesses.
I’m based in Amsterdam and available for bookings both locally and internationally.
With over 14 years of experience as a DJ, I have never needed to cancel a booking, a level of consistency my clients rely on when planning important events.
I maintain a clean lifestyle and do not drink alcohol, smoke, or use substances. and I follow a vegetarian diet. This overall lifestyle helps me stay energised, focused, and consistently reliable at every event. I’m comfortable working in diverse environments and around people with different lifestyles.
I work directly with my clients to ensure clear communication and a tailored experience. Bookings through an agency can be discussed if preferred.
Music Genres
My specialty is stylish feel-good music, including Nu-Disco, House, Lounge, Classic House, and curated popular tracks from the past five decades, mostly in modern, stylish remixes. This allows me to create both energetic sets and refined background atmospheres.
For events where conversation and connection are key, such as dinners and networking events, I select open and spacious sounds that enhance the atmosphere without overpowering it.
We will align on your musical preferences in advance to ensure the sound matches your event.

I perform using industry-standard Pioneer DJ equipment.

If you wish, In Amsterdam, I can mostly connect you with a company to provide essential technical equipment, including speakers, a small DJ booth, and a DJ controller.
For events outside Amsterdam, I may be able to connect on a case-by-case basis.

Prices
All prices are listed excluding VAT. 9% VAT will be added to all invoices where applicable.
Typically, a partial prepayment is required to confirm a booking.
Every event will be personally curated, with dedicated attention from the initial musical preparation and communication through to creating the right atmosphere on the event day.
Pricing is based on the type of event, the required level of preparation and coordination, communication time, duration, and location. The total price consists of three main components:

Travel costs and travel time, applicable only for events outside Amsterdam City Center

OPTION - CLASSIC LEVEL DISCOUNT RATE

For selected small-scale bookings with very limited coordination, a discounted rate may be available.
This rate applies only when ALL of the following conditions are met:

Very minimal planning and communication are required.

The booking can be confirmed with one email exchange and one phone call.

Only one short check-in is required during the week before the event.
-
No song requests are included.
-
No equipment sourcing or additional quotations are required for the booking.

All key booking details, including the date, starting time, booking duration, venue name, and exact DJ equipment model/version available at the venue, are provided with the initial request.

The client is based in Europe.

The booking is within 10 km of Amsterdam Central Station.

Full payment by bank transfer is required in advance to confirm the booking.

Pricing is customized.
Typically for parties of 500+ guests, as well as events of any size requiring extensive communication, preparation, customization, or coordination.
TRAVEL COSTS
Travel outside Amsterdam city center is charged at an indicative rate of €1.50 per km (round trip from Amsterdam Central Station). This covers travel time, transportation, parking, and any necessary preparation to arrive well in advance.
For example, an event 50 km away would incur cost of approximately €150.
DJ EQUIPMENT IN AMSTERDAM
Pioneer XDJ-XZ DJ Controller within Amsterdam City Center:
€175 Includes communication, delivery, coordination, and planning.
Speakers within Amsterdam City Center:
From €250 for basic small speakers (e.g. small retail spaces, small background music environments)
DJ Booth (Small) within Amsterdam City Center:
€75 If booked together with Speakers.
PLEASE NOTE:
Due to my busy schedule, I may not always be available to arrange or set up a DJ controller outside Amsterdam, or to arrange speakers or a DJ booth, either inside or outside Amsterdam.
